Biography
Tracy Dyer of Kaleidoscope Eyes Photography is a mixed media artist and photographer located in Chicago’s Lakeview. Kaleidoscope Eyes Photography specializes in fine art photography, color photography, theatrical photography, and event photography.
Born May 6, 1982, in Little Rock, Arkansas, growing up in rural Kansas, Tracy was creatively stifled by Midwestern isolation and spent her youth battling internal demons and emotional struggles that for some time left her infinitely falling into the dark abyss of a cosmic black hole. Reaching adulthood, Tracy uses her photography as a constructive outlet and a breakthrough into personal freedom.
The kaleidoscope, a Greek word meaning, “a view of beautiful form,” is a cylindrical optical instrument described as a constant set of changing colors or a constant series of changing phases or events. In personal reflection, Tracy feels that the kaleidoscope symbolizes her evolvement through life and her fascination with color.
The eccentric and highly saturated to her, as it seems, is beautiful.
